A Christian Rites of Passage Mentoring Program for African-American Young Women

Vision:

To educate and empower African-American young women ages 8-18 to become Christian leaders in the twenty-first century [and beyond].

Purpose:

The purpose of the DOI program is to develop Christian leaders by providing an ongoing program of character education, leadership development, and meaningful mentoring relationships.



Philosophy:

Young women who participate in this program have an unique opportunity to grow in spirit, and in the knowledge of God and self, through a Bible-based curriculum and one-to-one and group mentoring experiences.

Age Group:

Girls ages 7-18

Meeting Day/Location:

Thursday 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (typically between October and May, unless otherwise communicated)
